McLaren tribute

sadly Malcolm McLaren, the co-founder of punk, passed away from cancer the other day, so I decided to go punk as a tribute to him. ramones t shirt is my brother's, dad's tie, next coat, zara shorts, fishnets m&s, random self-destroyed socks, red doctor martens. i also did punk hair with a lot of teasing and my sunglasses, and green and purple punk make up. hope you liked it! xXjoyus

i love this outfit! the nautical red and white stripes clashes with the preppy brogues and long socks brilliantly- a look that you wouldn't think would work but it just does! fashion cybernerds like me will tell from the statement hair that it is an Alexander Wang outfit. i posted this picture up ages ago but no one commented as it was a short and boring few sentences that i accompanied with it. so i thought you might find it more interesting if i tried to duplicate the look - keeping strictly to high street clothes only .........

u like? gap shorts, new look vest top, random socks, tan leather brogue-style boots are (believe it or not) my mums 30 year old doctor martens! she usually uses them for gardening and stuff but i think brogues are coming into fashion- preppy kids (like i am trying to be) will love these style shoes!

i am saving for an abercrombie and Fitch body-warmer! I really love this one i found on ebay but i think it might be fake! o well i will be a prouder mother to a real one one one day!

feeling blue??

I have been enjoying a lazy day in today, and when the devil wears prada finished, i saw the clock- it was 10 to 5. So i thought id better get out of my pj's and get on some clothes, but i sort of accidentally picked all blue things to wear, so i thought i would go the whole hog and accessorize in blue stuff too. then i found the unnatural amount of blue scarves i have , so here they all are!!

jeggings from raw, shirt dress from kimchi & blue at urban outfitters, self-made bag (the 'joy' came out backwards because my web cam does that!) headband from topshop, scarves from bambooshoot, friends, and she-mag was my grandads.

one word - WOW

ouch ouch ouch!!! on pancake day i was closing a door but i hand my hand on one of the sections of glass when i did it and it shattered all over my hand! i got two big cuts on my right hand but it wont stop me posting!-currently typing with my left hand only :( o welll - ill get better soon!! xxxjoyus
